What is District Youth Council?
The Youth Council meets periodically to plan the district youth events.
Not only do the youth plan the events, they are the leadership at the events.  
We are looking forward to some new events.

Upcoming events:
  • January 16-18, Northport, UM Army Weekend
  • April 17-19, 2026, Shelter Island, District Youth Retreat  
 
This will include Friday night, and all-day Saturday and Sunday. 
It is open to all youth and adults in the cooperative, along with any friends.

In addition, we're looking for homeowners in our community that are in need of assistance with various home maintenance or repairs (i.e. interior painting, cleaning, clean-outs, Christmas decoration take down, etc.), that they're unable to do themselves due to financial concerns, disabilities, or age.  We can also assist a local food pantry, homeless shelter, or church, on any indoor projects.
