Senior's Group at Sayville UMC164 Greene Avenue  Sayville, NY 11782
meets Wednesdays at noon! No money is exchanged (we are United Methodists, after all!), but lots of great conversation takes place. If you are a senior and you enjoy playing games such as Hearts or Ad Lib, come on down and join the fun! Even the pastor has been known to play because AARP keeps sending him offers for a free tote bag. 631-589-0624

SENIOR FITNESS CLASS Smithtown UMC, 230 Middle Country Road, Smithtown, NY 11787 in Our Fellowship Hall
Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:00 - 3:00pm. Age is no obstacle! If you can drive yourself to the class, you can do it! Ellyn Seltzer, certified instructor and a senior herself, will lead you through a series of the very best simple, lowimpact weight training movements. Lean how to do these exercises and use Dynabands (provided) for toning and strength. Music is age-appropriate and fun. Bring 1 pair of 1, 2 or 3 lb. weights or no weights to start, and water. Dress in layers for comfort. Ellyn will give you modifications throughout. Chairs are used for most of the class - no floor work required! We have a real fun class! You can go at your own pace until your body is trained to accept all exercises. Bring water if needed. Believe it or not, we have fun! If you are interested, contact Ellyn at 631-375-6943.
